Overview

Maven Trading sells challenges from $14 for a $2,000 account to $342 for $100,000, across Standard 1, 2 and 3-step models, Instant, Mini, Buy now pay later and Omo 2-step. Every model's targets and loss limits are on the home page. The firm is registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Pros

  • The cheapest entry on this list; a $2K account costs less than a takeaway
  • Targets and drawdowns are printed per model on the home page
  • Seven models, including a pay-later option

Cons

  • Tight limits: a 3% daily loss and 5% overall on the 1-step leave little room
  • An 80% split with a 10-business-day payout is slower than the fastest firms
  • MetaTrader is not offered to US or Canadian residents

Our review

Maven Trading competes on price and transparency. A $2K challenge costs $14, a $10K $34, a $100K $342, and the home page prints the rules for each model. The Standard 1-step asks for 8% inside a 3% daily and 5% overall loss. The 2-step asks for 8% then 5% inside 4% daily and 8% overall. The 3-step trades three phases of 3% against a 3% overall loss. Omo runs 6% then 8%, and a Buy now pay later model opens with a 4% target.

Those limits are tight. A 5% overall loss on a 1-step means two ordinary losing days at 2.5% each end the attempt, which is why the price is low. The split is 80%, or 70% on the Mini account, and Standard payouts take 10 business days while Mini pays in 24 hours.

Maven suits a disciplined trader who wants a cheap, clearly documented attempt and does not need weekend or news rules spelled out, which the home page does not do. It is registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis and does not offer MetaTrader to US or Canadian residents.
