Overview
HFM (HF Markets) publishes one comparison table for its InfinityX, Cent, Zero, Pro and Premium accounts. Three open from $0, leverage reaches 1:2000 on the main accounts and is described as unlimited on InfinityX, and every account runs on MT4, MT5, HFM's WebTrader, app and platform.
Pros
- The comparison table is complete: minimums, spreads, leverage, stop-out and lot limits for every account on one page
- A cent account and a $0 minimum make it easy to start very small
- The UK company's FCA number is printed in the footer next to the offshore entities
Cons
- The international site serves clients through the St Vincent, South African and Seychelles companies, not the FCA one
- Not offered to residents of the USA, Canada, UAE, Türkiye and several other countries
- The InfinityX account's unlimited leverage comes with a 20% margin call and 0% stop-out, which is a very short leash
Our review
HFM's account page is the model of what a broker comparison should look like: minimum deposit, spread, leverage, margin call, stop-out, lot limits and open-order caps for all five accounts in one table. Cent, Zero and Premium open from $0, Pro from $100 and InfinityX from $250. Zero prices forex from 0 pips with a commission; Pro from 0.6 pip with none; Cent and Premium from 1.4 pip.
Leverage is 1:2000 on the four main accounts and listed as unlimited on InfinityX, with the footnote that it may be adjusted. The main accounts use a 50% margin call and 20% stop-out; InfinityX runs 20% and 0%, which means a position can be liquidated with nothing left. That is the trade-off for the leverage.
The group has an FCA-regulated UK company, and its number is in the footer, but the international site you reach from Bangladesh is operated by the St Vincent, South Africa and Seychelles entities. HFM is a good fit for a trader who wants a cent account to start and a clear path up to raw pricing on the same platforms; read the leverage footnotes before choosing InfinityX.
