- EAs, a mobile app and a VPS are listed for both accounts; minimum trade 0.01 lot
Overview
FP Markets keeps it to two accounts. Standard is commission-free from 1.0 pips; Raw prices from 0.0 pips with US$3 per lot per side. Both open from US$100, both run ECN pricing, and both offer leverage up to 1:500 where the local entity allows it.
Pros
- The whole offer fits in one table on their site: two accounts, one minimum, clear costs
- US$3 per side is at the low end for a raw account
- Stocks and bonds are on the Raw account, not just forex and metals
Cons
- 1:500 depends on your jurisdiction; the ASIC and CySEC entities are capped far lower
- The Standard account does not include stocks or bonds
- The page we read did not name the regulator for the entity serving Bangladesh; check the legal footer for your region
Our review
FP Markets publishes its account comparison as a plain table, which is the best sign a broker can give. Standard and Raw both start at US$100, both run ECN execution, both allow EAs and a VPS, and the only real decision is whether you would rather pay in the spread (from 1.0 pips) or in a US$3 per side commission on top of raw spreads.
The Raw account is also where the platform choice widens. TradingView joins MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, and the instrument list adds stocks and bonds to the forex, metals, indices, commodities and digital currencies that both accounts share.
Leverage of 1:500 is printed for both accounts, but that figure belongs to the offshore entity. FP Markets also runs ASIC and CySEC regulated businesses where retail leverage is far lower, so the number you actually get depends on where you sign up from. For a Bangladeshi trader who wants a low, fixed commission and TradingView, FP Markets is one of the tidier options.
